When Petri was writing about his '65 American, he mentioned that the picture had been taken, "in Forssa Pick-Nick last summer. Thatīs the biggest outside event here in Finland." I asked him to tell me more; he wrote:

"Hello again!

"You asked me to write [a] word or two about that Forssa Pick-nick. Itīs sure the biggest and oldest outdoor even here in Finland. Itīs organiced by SMCF (street machine club forssa) with our biggest US-car magazine V8-Magazine. Next year is 19. and this event take place at 08.05.2001. [W]hole event is free for hobby cars. All those daily drivers have to pay for parking places.

"This year our new club AMC Club Finland made itīs first meet there. Three Hornets, one Rebel, one Javelin AMX and one Matador Coupe were there. And of course my American. There were more AMCs around, for examble SMCF members pristine '65 220 2d American (originally imported here in Finland), another Matador Coupe, '69 Javelin BBB and '70 Ambassador 4d. And of course all those blues mobiles.
